Interstate Bakeries Corporation (IBC) is one of the largest wholesale bakers and distributors of fresh baked bread and sweet goods in the United States.
The Company operates 45 bakeries throughout the United States and employs approximately 25,000 people. From these strategically dispersed bakeries, the Company’s sales force delivers baked goods to more than 200,000 food outlets on approximately 6,400 delivery routes. The Company's products are distributed throughout the United States, primarily through its direct route system and approximately 850 bakery outlets, and to some extent through distributors.
